First trip to Long Beach. What a spot, if the wind would have showed oh what it it would have been.
First run got planing and was soooo stoke, sailed to the out side and then nothing. Had to up haul to get back in but managed to catch an awesome wave ride so couldn't give up. Kept trying for about half a hour but the wind just got lighter. Still was able to catch a few really nice waves got 3 nice turns on one and that made my day. Best SUP session I've ever had though. The waves were so nice, lots of head high sets, big and friendly compared to The Cape. It was a long way to go for a day trip ( 5:15 first sailing 10:45 last sailing ) so next time I'll definitely stay for a few days. Can't wait to go back.
