NW Thermal Session Report at Furry CreekArrived at 6:20 AM after seeing a 25 kts sensor reading at 3 AM. Saw whitecaps out in the distance. Little to no wind at the public dock. Hawaiian-carried all the gear from the parking lot to a little grass patch by the public dock.

2 hours TOW on 4.8 m2 and 105L. Overpowered. Choppy in the middle, flat water on the opposite side. Choppy, but occasional waist-high waves with decent spacing in between. Great bump and jump conditions. Sailed until just after the sun came out. Warmer than Saturday.
Brian arrived as I was packing up. The wind was still on!

Home and at work by 9:30am. Will be back for more.
Note: there is a deceptive wind shadow at Furry Creek. Would recommend a floaty board.
