Looks like forecasts for tomorrow morning are calling for 4C with light rain and easterly wind that could be 12 knots to gusts up to 20 knots at Jericho. Slog on the foil at 12 knots, up on the foil at 14 knots, catapult at 20 knots. It's a dream come true.

Sounds fun, I'll be doing the same but at Centennial. Tides high enough in the morning but I hope it's not too cold.

The van is packed but the temperature looks more conducive to skiing. Decisions, decisions...

I might go that route too. Centennial actually isn't all that much further from east van compared to Jericho. 10 minutes more maybe. If the wind is ESE I'm not sure if Jericho will get much wind.

Looking better at Jericho at the moment. Never been there on an easterly. Today May be a first. That seems best location at the moment but may change...

At Jericho. Parking is gated/sandbagged off. There is wind, I think I could maybe get on the foil with a 5.5. Wider boards would be fine I think. Jericho wind sensor seems to match what I’m feeling in the beach. Shortest walk I’ve ever noticed to the water (high tide). Kind of cold.

All the gates around Jericho were closed when I swung by, I don’t know when they open.

The wind has died. However, I’m happy to report that the washrooms are open at Locarno. Time to go home and watch Arsenal vs ManU.
