I found kites but was told to find a shipping address in Blaine so I can save on import duties. Anyone have experience with this? Could save me a few bucks.

OK, but if I drive across and pick up 4 kites and drive back can I expect to get raped on duties and taxes?

0% duty for HS code 9503.00.9099. Just pay GST.

Thanks Alton. You are a wealth of knowledge.
What about green cards for gear ? Plenty of wind surfers cross over the line to go to PR on windy days. Do most guys have their gear claimed? I could have the stuff shipped, then just go down there on the next windy day for a session.

Don't you mean "The Letter Carrier" is closed?

I called TSB Shipping at 1-360-945-0740 and they are still open.

Thinking I should order some new winter wetsuit booties before the soles wear through mine. Prefer 5-mil or really warm 3-mil, with snug fit for good feel on the board. Anybody have any suggested favourites and suppliers? Richi- what did you have on the other day?; they looked like a good smooth design for windsurfing.
