Windsurf board stolen - Naish Freemove 100ltr

Off Topic Comments, Help, Tips and Trick

by babymama » Mon Nov 03, 2014 7:39 pm

Hey guys
In hopes to get some action in Bbay, I drove to downtown with my two boards attached to the car, and parked in a parkade (as I have always been doing)

The kind thief decided to steal my least favorite board:
Naish Vector 100 ltr Free Move,

and leave the JP behind....

If you do see it on the beach, or someone selling it on some forum, please be aware that it could be mine.

Thanks
babymama

What year and colour is the board so we can recognize it? Maybe you can post a picture using the "img" tag.

Some idiot probably thought it was an SUP and after he tries it once he'll post it on Craigslist. We'll keep our eyes open.

That totally sucks Maryam. Make sure you make a police report just incase it ends up at the police auction in April. I saw a stolen bike of mine at the police auction, I would have got it back if I would have been smart enough to report it.

I will find the bastard for you.

MA: Sorry to read this. Kinda like the adult version of getting your bike stolen as a child (very personal).

 Do you have coverage through your contents insurance?

That's terrible and I know what it's like! It's sort of surprising to think of someone running down the street downtown with a board :? Hope it shows up.

I feel for you, if your into it.

I would suggest you post a 'Wanted Windsurfing board' ad on the various buy&sells. Setup a one time email or alias. Do not give any personal info and don't text. If you find the guy contact the police and let them deal with it. Abstain from recovery activities that would stop you from crossing into the US.

Good Luck with your recovery efforts.
