Looks like Ocean Rodeo has been killed by it's own success. They are making so much money selling ALUULA now that they decided to focus on it and remove the conflict of interest of OR.

Sounds like they opted to kill the brand and sell the IP instead of selling the brand. Also it sounds like Richard is going to retire and without him at the helm OR wouldn't exist anyway.
Sad news for the kite/wing scene.
Also when I read this I get a bit worried about the future of ALUULA in windsports. I wouldn't be surprised if they stop focusing on them all together soon as the consumer goods market is about 1,000,000x more profitable.

They divested from the dry suit business. And the chicken loop debacle was also a bad oversight.
