SWAP: UBC will be hosting the spring SWAP meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 24th. We'll meet up on the grass by the turnaround in front of the Jericho Sailing club, at the end of Discovery Road.
SMACK DOWN: Followed by SWAP, and a quick lunch (bring your own
), we shall hit the water for a SMACK DOWN at 12:30, A SMACK DOWN to see who has the coolest freestyle moves, who does the ubc slalom course faster, and who can win our ultimate UBC PRIZE.For anyone who is new to the sport, the SWAP AND SMACK meet is a great way to meet the local windsurfing community and pick up some cheap gear to get you going. There will lots of people around to give advice and help you pick out the right gear.
