Hi,

talking to Alton, Francis and Richi I did not know windsurfers did not know about potential pollution in the Gorge. I know ignorance is bliss ... here is an article about radioactive waste leaking into underground water upstream of the Gorge:

Another issue is Ambleside, lions gate bridge PRIMARY treatment plant ("take solids out and dump it") ... dumping waste water under the lions gate bridge :

Secondary treatment has been planned for 2020. Better to surf when tide's coming in.

Also Squamish is looking into a UV system to clean it up even more.

I always thought the sick belly at the end of a windsurfing day was the Taco Bell....
