When it's absolutely too cold

Finally a great pow day snowboarding with LeopardSkin. 15 to 20 cm of fresh got tracked out before 10 am. Epic runs down Rainbow, Bowen and the super duper secret Olympic run.

Day 21 - Arrived late today so had the walk of shame from Lot 3B. Didn't really plan on snowboarding today but I was eager to test out a new stance. From -3° back / +18° front to +3° back / +24° front ... and reduced stance width by 1". It seems like toeside turns are easier but the real test would be another pow day like yesterday.

Good to see Francis and Mike for the first time this season.

Day 22 - Better than expected snowboarding with LeopardSkin. Changing my stance width from 22" to 21" made for tighter more aggressive turns. Fun touring everywhere and laying down trenches.

Day 23 - A wet snow day snowboarding with LeopardSkin. 10 to 20 cm of heavy fresh. Favorite surfy run was Humpty Dumpty (4 times) and favorite mogul run was Hutch (3 times). Very few riders today so it didn't get tracked out until 10:30

Day 24 - A morning of drizzle with LeopardSkin in slushy snow ... pretty good for aggressive turns

On Saturday night, only Panorama & Collins will be groomed. Other runs will not be groomed.

Day 25 - Rain session at Cypress. Most runs were marginally groomed due to diminishing conditions. Panorama and Windjammer was littered with brown patches. Collins was pretty good for tons of 360 carves especially with very low attendance ... had the run all to myself 4 times. Called it quits at 10:30 when water droplets got inside my goggles and fog arrived.

Day 26 - Pretty good morning snowboarding without LeopardSkin. Firm conditions softened quickly for fun riding uncrowded runs with no wait times. Perfect day working on carving lines (front hand on front knee for toe side turns / back hand on front knee for heel side turns ... always keeping shoulders horizontal). Mix of sun and cloud. Left at noon when it started drizzling.
