Cypress Mountain 2021/ 2022

When it's absolutely too cold

Had some fun turns in the fresh snow today although it was more work than yesterday because it was heavier and more moist. Still a good day. Went to the cafeteria for the first time this year and had poutine.

Day 63 - Fun snowboarding in 15cm+ of fresh but heavy. LeopardSkin and I scored first tracks on the secret run and defiled it before Benito could get to it.

Fog at first. Some people left early.

I hate to rub it in ... but I will. Afterwards, the fog cleared for those who stayed at the hill. Snow was decent too.

Tony is right: really nice conditions after the fog cleared around 1030. Better on Lions side (Humpty Dumpty and Gibsons/Horizon) until it cleared. Glad we didn’t bail out too early.

Day 65 - 5 cm of fresh ... first 2 runs down Crazy Raven were cushy like a baby's tushy ... then became packed, tracked, foggy and bumpy

Day 66 - Firm, poor grooming, chunky and some dead baby heads ... otherwise, pinched out some good turns with LeopardSkin
