When it's absolutely too cold

Ideally we would get some somewhat softish or decently groomed runs because we're going to work on carving and edges. Is tomorrow (Saturday) a good candidate for this? Sunday?
Thanks

If it dumps 12 cm overnight, it could be heavy snow tomorrow morning

Day 60 - Smooooooooth 5 cm of fresh. Perfect untracked and uncrowded runs for the first hour. Fun riding with Clay, Chris, Jerry and Bill.

Day 61 - One sweet run down Jasey Jay + Lower Fork ...

then 3 shitty runs down Crazy Raven, Shoreline and Olympic cat track.

Tracked out after first run. Over 15 cm deep HEAVY snow forced me to lean way back on my non-pow board ... so exhausting.

Don't bother coming unless you enjoy blowing cash on a day pass

Maybe tomorrow morning will be good on the groomers? Recent snow and just below freezing.

Tomorrow is a day for Jake.

Forecast calls for a thin dusting of fresh slush in the morning, followed by tracked sludge.

No new snow and above zero temps overnight ... so I expect spring conditions ... corduroy turning to sugar once the crowds arrive (likely after the first run)

Day 62 - Drizzle and foggy so stayed on Panorama, WindJammer and Crazy Raven where visibility was best. Plenty of soft grippy corduroy perfect for carving and laying down lines.

Avalanche.ca was calling for 15-25 CM of new snow last night with another 20-45 CM today. However, they also forecasted a freezing level of 1300 M which is pretty high. I took a chance that it might end up being a rain out but when I arrived in the parking lot at 8 AM it was 0 C and snowing. Had two runs of fresh tracks on Jasey Jay, then was first down Black on Black, then second on Meteor which I then lapped. Lots of fresh on the Olympic run then went over to Lions which opened late. Still got some untracked snow on Moons at 10:30 AM. A fair amount of moisture in the snow but very sweet on the fat skis, and deeper the higher you were on the mountain. No line-ups even at 11:15 AM when I called it a day.
