Kitesurfing shop talk

Anyone been to Goose Spit in Comox. Heading this long weekend for sisters wedding and might be able to grab a few hours for kiting ;)
Where is the launch for the lagoon? All I see are power lines.

Thanks!

I don't know anything about Comox kiting but they have a Facebook group called Comox Valley Kiteboard Crew

Hope that helps :D

Robbie, power lines are upwind during usual SE wind launch when shredding on the honey hole side there.

I'm not a local there, so don't take my word with too much weight, but when I went it was pretty much park anywhere along the spit and then walk downwind (SE) of the road a bit and rig up.

Butter flat water on the right tide, but not much space if it gets crowded.
