I'm sure someone's done it in the last couple of years.
I know a lot of Vancouverites who don't normally sail locally. A few of them are loopers. I know they've sailed Ambleside in the last 2 years.
But what really counts is a WTFer doing it!!

I've surfed almost every ambleside session in the last 6 years. a guy with small gear tried it 3 years ago, too small gear.
2 years ago another windsurfer, just cruising over surf no jumps..
googling 'ambleside windsurfing' has no images.

Just raced down to ambleside , set up a my camera on a tripod with a 20 second timer, and snapped this selfie

front loop at least. board over sail. that's an aerial even I can do with my 7m sail ... keep looking.
+ it promotes the sport locally for young people, a picture may motivate somebody to pick up the sport.
like if I want to discourage sup I would show this picture:
