Sailed 2 days
Yesterday at the Event Site - 5.5 & 99l Carve - Gusty but totally doable,
To day we met friends & sailed at Stevenson Gusty & up & down - about the same as the rest of the Corridor once the clouds came. 5.5 & 99l Carve again,
Scared myself to day - went out on the Mistral underpowered & fell in in the middle of the Channel - looked up & saw a barge coming down river - 1st 2 waterstarts failed - no wind - bagged sail right out with the adj outhaul & finally got up & slogged out of the way none to soon. Of course as soon as the Barge was by I planed all the way back to the beach.
Lesson learned - check for barges
