Might get some SE winds tomorrow, hoping for a boundary bay session and get some redemption after missing Sunday at WR, fingers crossed!

Tough call.

Models for Boundary Bay are on the edge between SSE and SSW. Could be up and down ... or not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe a wet and heavy pow day at Cypress is the call? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I intend to goto Boundary Bay. Windsurf or kite depends on conditions and mood.

Yep saw that and it's a bit of a question mark. But it doesn't seem like a distinct SW???? (ie being blown off shore). I'm not rushing to get there but thinking to be there mid am to let temperatures rise and the outward tide movement to kick in.

25 cm pow at Whistler, or 25 cm of sludge at Cypress.

I vote for 25 cm of wet sludge for nostalgic reasons.

Solid windsurf on 86l and 4.5 sail. Reminded me (once the power kicked in) why I keep the windsurf gear. Us 3 windsurfers outnumbered the kiters?!?!

Lunch time session for me on a 9m kite at the ferry terminal. Was perfect 20-25 knots and then it picked up.

Finally another Boundary bay session, sailed 5.0/89ltr, finished a little before noon when wind dropped. Wind was a little on and off starting out but then it fully picked up and had plenty of power, could have been on 4.5. Freezing water but air temps were toasty. Decent swells though a little messy and not super clean.

Double session - after a morning of disappointing snowboarding at Cypress, kitesurfing at 3rd Ave was my redemption.

Cash and I arrived at the noon lull just when the 3 windsurfers and 3 wingers (Michael, Sam, Jaryn) called it quits. We scored a sweet waist high breaking wave session in SSE 20-25 g 30. Endless bottom turns on 8m+surfboard for me and 10m+TT for Cash. Called it quits when the wind got too strong. Surprised no other kiters joined us.

Pretty good week for kiting ... 3 wave sessions since Sunday.
