Weekend wind!!!

So where do we go on weekend...!? Ocean shores next to Westport looks good... anyone ever sailed there... somebody wans to go...

I've never sailed there but I know there are a few wingers that do. Not sure what it would be like windsurfing. Columbia Beach has some potential. I'm too busy with work to get away.

I've sailed Westport once on a stormy wind in the bay though. Now It seems it's gonna go light too early... Not worth the trip to explore I guess. Let's see if Boundary or Point Roberts gonna be sailable.

That's the question! BB airport sensor says 13g19 @ 80 degrees (east). Not overly a sell for me in terms of direction.... Iwindsurf sensor down!

BB airport wind meter is even less inspiring. Weak forecast too. Working now on pulling myself off stand by and stay home. I have new kites so want to try them, but rather have a decent day for first sessions.

Great weekend for me.
Ferry Terminal yesterday early morning on 5m and kitefoil 15-17kn. Weeds close to shore and no weeds at mile marker.
Today at 3d Ave 15kn from 10am till 3pm on 5m again. Less weeds than at Ferry and no weeds at mile maker. Better swell than yesterday in the morning and flat in afternoon. Had to body drag around 1pm from far out, when wind dropped and wasn't enough to get on foil.
