Sat Wind

Windsurfing shop talk

A handful of windsurfers enjoyed the 22-25 knots ESE today at CB. Had a nice upper body 2 hour workout today with my 4.5m/74L.

Am I getting old or just getting fat? I got too tired after 2 hours so quit for tomorrow’s session.

One winger, 2-3 windfoilers, and 4 kitefoilers (I'm counting me as a kitefoiler not a winger) got out in the very up and down Easterly at Jericho yesterday.

I gave wingfoiling a go to start but I don't think it was windy enough most of the time for me to learn. I want like 14 knots but it was more like 8g15. There was especially little wind right above the surface too.

Fun little kitefoil session after though.

Even with 4 mm of neoprene balancing that 58L board with my knees is kinda nasty

Ya winging is nasty on the knees!! That 58L is small for that light of wind. You don't need much more but at least enough to keep pressure on the wing so you can get up. I'm sure you'll be ripping around in no time. You coming to Boundary Bay tomorrow?
