Squamish Friday? - opinions

I normally wouldn't consider Squamish on a day like this but this appears to be some low tide opportunity this afternoon. Squamish webcam seems to show some blue but not so much at Pemberton. Any opinions on the wind? Anyone heading up?

Pouring rain and 4 degrees in Kamloops Mike. No sun forecast all day. Nicola is blowing SW already though which is earlier than normal. Good SW gradient too from Merritt to Kamloops.

Thanks Chris. I too see a general south push but clouds make it questionable. I don't recommend it but the low tide potential is making me take the chance today.

Big skunk today. Was much lighter than what iwindsurf suggests.

It was a good Friday indeed - scored a double session. 2 hours snowboarding at Cypress with free burgers. 1 hour 11m kite session SW 12-15 from 2-3pm in front of the sandbar at 1m tide - perfect for practicing waterstarts without rescue. Only 8 kiters today including Adrian (the kiter) and Cam.

Too bad Adrian (the windsurfer), Mike, Filip and Francois got skunked windsurfing.
