Windsurfing shop talk

There could be some west wind late tomorrow afternoon at Whidbey. I might head down if things look good by 10 or 11.

Hi Michael,

TAF looks sweet for a mid afternoon until dark session! West 27 gusting 40 knots is no joke for JWSP. Hopefully the timing works with daylight and the westerly push.

Monday looks to be more of an all day event with the thermal trough of low pressure moving inland setting up a solid westerly. I would still watch the actuals for today. As soon as Race Rocks and Victoria Gonzales turn West and start cranking get in the van and drive :D

Timing should workout perfect..........

Cheers,

Chris

I'm ready to go, just waiting for Race Rocks to start but TAF looks lighter now 14g22 at noon, so it might be Monday.

Michael, did you wind up hitting it?

I was tempted but need to collect the kids at 3, so that put the kibosh on it.

I noticed Locust beach was in the mid to high teens most of the morning too, and that's only 1/2 the drive

No I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Was going to at 1:00 if things picked up but it still looks light. Maybe at 2, that still gives me enough time for an evening session.

Glad I decided not to go, looks like the wind is showing up now though. Stayed here and had a nice 2 hour wind sup session at Centennial.
