Nicola seems to be going off these days. Friday might be a good day but I'm not sure about water temps this time of year.

I've sailed there in May and the water is frigid, but then again so is Squamish at this time of year. Ice should be off with the warm spell recently.

Thanks Brian, I thought it would be cold. I swam in the Okanagan once in April! :shock: :o Looks like it's down graded anyways.

I've spent lots of time on both lakes. Nicola is MUCH colder than Okanagan even in mid-summer. They're both fun to sail on, and Nicola has the more predictable thermal, but you definitely need a good suit on Nicola in Spring and Fall.
