Big SE and solid W afterwards for Whidbey tomorrow. JWSP should go off in the afternoon and Ebey in the morning. Way bigger water conditions than Locust but a long haul down in the vehicle.

3rd Ave hands down beats White Rock on a SSE. The wind on a SSE is really gusty and the waves never set up as nice as Boundary Bay. SW to NW is another story but the G-Spot update is showing light winds after the switch so I think BBay dawn patrol is the best bet.

I always use a weed fin but I think you could get away without one. It was clean on the beach the other day but I can't remember what it was like my last session there. That's very sad! I actually think it was the last time I saw you there. Hope to see you there in the morning, get there early! If the wind shows up I'll be at Centennial at 7. I'm going to park on Centennial Parkway and rig up on the grass instead of going to 3rd.

Noted

Friday session for Ethan (surf) and I (surf, Wave-SUP) at North Chestermans (two competing swell directions were creating 'mush' at the other beaches) from about 5 pm to 7 pm. The last hour the wind kept building from the SW then shifted south to eventually be too much for SUP-sailing 5.2, but was too short-lived to try. Waist to chest high at about 8 seconds (in intermittent sets of about eight). WiFi connection won't tolerate uploading pics ~ I will try again later.

Word of Caution - to all (especially kiters): Saturday morning at Boundary Bay/3rd Ave may clock SW rather quickly so stay close and return to shore quickly if you feel the wind backing off.
