Looks really promising to my eye. Maybe even an opportunity to try out my 80l - last used March 17th!

This is the spot to park for White Rock East Beach.
If the wind is SW in the morning I'll be there but if it's S or SSE I'll stay and sail at 3rd Ave Boundary Bay. Hope to see a big crew in the morning!

If you park in one of the City spots (numbered spots) make sure to purchase a ticket as the City tickets unpaid vehicles.

M: This may be the EC alert you mentioned (a touch vague on timing and most intense portion of the front may pass at night).

5:30/5:45 actuals:

- temps are 9-10 degrees C (good)
- front looks like is moving slower (good)

- Locust SE 30-42 mph (ramping up)
- Ferry Terminal SSE 23-28 mph (ramping up)
- Point Roberts ??
- Centennial SSE 18-22 mph (ramping up)
- White Rock (Blaine) SE 3-6 mph (tanking)

Locust (stronger, gustier wind, smaller swell) and Centennial (lighter, more consistent wind, larger swell) are on my short list - will make a final decision on departure (~6:30).

Curious what others are thinking.

When it clocks SW (maybe 8'ish) you don't want to be swimming back against offshore wind. ie. Centennial / 3rd Ave sounds risky today. I'm going to drive down to White Rock or Crescent Beach before sunrise (8am) then decide.
