I like the idea of a car shuttle/downwinder. Another thing to keep in mind is the longshore current which will be strong on a SE pushing north, potentially getting you stuck in the wind shadow. Shouldn't be any shore pound that side if the tide is right and perhaps the right wind direction curves the wind a bit instead of blocking. I'm down to give it a try if I'm around, should be a challenge! I'd expect to get stuck onshore at some point, that bay is pretty tight for windsurfing.
