Please refrain from premature stoke.

Maybe windsurf Locust Sunday dawn patrol then kitesurf Tsawwassen in the afternoon?

White Rock works on NW too. Some of the nicest waves happen on a NW at WR.

Latest G-Spot update continues to forecast Sunday afternoon westerly.

Whidbey Island looks interesting ... but the tide may be a bitch

 Rolling around in the shore break in the freight trains at JWSP would be great 'aqua-therapy' for the tweaked calf muscle! :D ;)

Here is an example of WR on a NW.

Here is one more example - the "wind bomb" (2011 Nov 11) in words and pictures.

Regarding Joseph Whidbey tide, Andy from the Bellingham Board Sports (Google group) says:
AndyandMarlys wrote:It can be challenging getting out at high tide. If it is really high tide the water goes all the way to the driftwood. It is possible to get out, but is much safer at lower tides.

I'll probably pass on Whidbey Island especially since (as C36 reminds me) I started limping this morning (tweaked calf muscle).

Thanks for posting those pics of WR on a NWerly, Dave. You've got me sold on the drive there if the forecasts look solid :D Those ramps look like they're worth their weight in BC gas ;)

I think WRB has a very low probability of all the variables lining up to be an "on" day but I keep trying because when it goes off it is magic!

My wife and I may be moving to the top of 101 steps; I checked it out around 5:00pm on thursday and was pretty thrilled to see what the SW wind produced swell wise there and it looks like a pretty safe launch... if all goes well it could be nice and close to new diggs. Fingers crossed!
