METAR/TAF calling for westerly in the morning. Morning tide is low (3m) starting at 9am.

Finally may be enough wind for me to windsurf since August. White Rock or Acadia?

 I have a morning meeting on Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30, so I am watching for a work-around.

 Nautical twilight is at about 6 am on Thursday and BWD and GFS are showing some south/souteast may blow through the night. If early morning actuals support it, I am considering dawn patrol (being rigged and ready at 6 am) at the beach that shall not be mentioned (as it has fallen so far out of favour  ). Would prefer not to sail alone, :? but will if required.

Then with a little luck, the west clearing wind will linger until noon to allow for a second session (White Rock is faster for me to get to for a splash and dash)! :D 8-) ;)

Dave, I'm definitely down to join you for some real-deal dawn patrol, if tonight's updated models look good for it. I do, however, feel like a beaten dog returning to an abusive master going back to "the beach that shall not be mentioned".

Maybe this time finally he'll play fetch with me.

:D Glad you still have your sense of humour and besides you're due! Odds are clearly in your favour now!!! :D ;)

I'll check back in later.

I think it's more reassuring to see that it's gone, to be honest.. intuitively, the prospect of a violent shift in direction is not a good thing, especially in a spot that's already highly prone to fickle forecasts.

METAR/TAF is not very impressive. Looks like I'll have to kite again.
