Everybody is so quiet! My heart is racing just trying to figure out if it's better to be "battling my poison ivy" early in the morning, or to have a migraine headache tomorrow early afternoon. Unfortunately I can't pull a full day off... unless maybe I get food poisoning.

Lucas - Poison Ivy! Most models are calling for dawn patrol. Fingers crossed.

I'm also trying to figure out whether to try to get in a session between the nautical twilight at 6:52 and my 10:00am Vancouver court appearance, or to try for the afternoon. I'm guessing that I would probably have to leave BB at 8:30 at the latest if I go for the dawn patrol... What say you Alton?

If you don't mind smelling like low tide in court then go for it. Wait for wind confirmation at 6am before committing. I'll probably be doing the same tomorrow.

It looks like it's moving in, it's blowing SE all the way up the coast. Look at Solander 62g76, that's a first for me. :o Lets hope we get to see some of that action in the morning.

Hey Michael,

I heard Mark Madryga say on the news hour a few years ago that Solander Island had the highest average daily wind speed out of all the reporting stations in Canada. Something crazy like 25 knots, 24/7, 365. If only there was a road out there and not a water access only National Park :D

I believe it! Every time I look at that sensor it's windy, it's usually the one I look at the see if there is something coming. Hope we score tomorrow at Boundary Bay, I'm resisting driving down to Whidbey but since you posted that TAF forecast Dave has had it as his AM back up plan. I might be convinced. :D

Good luck tomorrow Michael. Looks like being suited up and rigged up at dawn will be the best bet for a long session. It'll be interesting to see what Oak Harbour and Ebey do with the heavy forecast down south in the morning.

Cheers,

Chris
