Just checked out http://www.canadarasp.com.

Looks accurate to what transpired today. The wind blip that hit white rock for a brief period.

That's saying 120m as surface winds, but there is going to be a lot of differences between the surface and 120m.

I also don't see much correlation with today's wind at 3rd ave. I've attached the graph in km/h for direct comparison. There's no accounting for the nastiness from 3-5 pm in that model at all.

I do welcome as many wind models as we can get though so hopefully this one proves to have some utility.

So I noticed there is a little button there labeled "Press for full parameter set", and if you push that button you get to choose the 10m (actual surface) winds.

Sadly looking at the 10m winds for Oct 13 it still isn't a very good correlation for the wind on the water that day.
