Not sure what to think of the current "steady" Northerly wind... is that a bad sign or a good sign? I'm finding a missing bolt for my boom and heading out after that, but a heads up would be great if I'm in for a bad surprise..

Cheers.

May be best to work or whatever today tomorrow and sail later in the week if you have the flexibility.

Double session! Even better it was the best Squamish session of the season. Super, super, super steady SW 20 from 1pm to 5pm and later.

Spent over 2 hours kiting (no rescue) on my 10m North Fuse (with some depower). Quickly discovered my past upwind struggles (on my 135x38 twin tip) were remedied with a Fanatic Easy Rider (144x40). Today, I got upwind from the lower sandbar to the cliffs in only 3 effortless tacks! Even enjoyed riding the voodoo chop.

Fatigued from kiting only went windsurfing for 0.5 hours on 5.2/93L. Great freestyle turn out in perfect conditions with Joe, Adrien and Marty. Other windsurfers included Simon, Filip, Francois from the Spit and Maurice and Jordan from Nexen. Probably spotted about a dozen windsurfers in total.

Congrats! Hope we get some of the same today! Looking at the gradient things seem good, but Ikitesurf, and wind guru look poor, not to mention the howe sound forecast isn't stellar.

It has switched. Light wind. Starting to clock round to the south. It was west at first.

There was one boat sailing north on an inflow and another boat sailing south on an outflow. How often do you see that?

I hooked up the boat was gonna go crabbing, but the launch was too busy, came home saw looked at the graph, wind still hadn't arrived, sat with my son on the couch and had a 30 minute nap, saw it jumped up. Decided to play it safe, and cut the grass. Looking at the graph now, it looked pretty challenging particularily between 2:30 and 3:30.
Happy Canada Day! Me, cut grass, drink beer, have bbq. Argh Ug !
