Welcome Mike to the 5m club ... first time on his 5m Duotone Neo.

Mike and I scored the high tide dawn patrol session at 3rd Ave ... both of us on 5m+surfboard in SSE 30-35. Awesome waves outside for some amazing bottom turns. At times overpowered but great to end the session under sunny sky.

Pretty sweet to score two consecutive wave days this time of year.

Looks like the White Rock city sensor is blocking it ... so I excluded it for now.

A bit of a frustrating start but turned out great, launched from boat ramp around 6.30am, first way overpowered on 4.5, tried to make it work but too much so came in and rigged 4.0 but then wind had dropped so back in again and to rig the 4.5 and then I was dialled till around 10 and then a long walk back, quite good waves, my last few session there have been low tide and I’ve found it creates some good breaking and powerful waves closer to the exposed sandbanks. Don't think I've sailed boundary bay in June before, quite a treat, shared with a few kiters and John and Simon windsurfing
