Looks like a small window of wind Saturday afternoon. Could be a chilly one.

I'm committed to family stuff today but the boundary bay wind cam looks awesome right now!

Snowing up on Burnaby Mountain.

Cheers

Boundary OSR: Cold and very gusty. Was way over powered on a 4m Wing.

Today decided to stay at Jericho, less drive.
Great 5m kitefoil session, overpowered most of the time. At some point wanted to switch to 2.5m. but to cold for long swim. Finished around 1pm , when got really cold. Few wingers ,few windsurfers, not busy. No weeds, which is important, wind was 18-22kn most of the time.

If I had to do it again I would have gone to Jericho. Much more civilized compared to the bay. Good to hear you had a nice session.

Too cold for me in Vancouver but I have to say that the 4.5m/85 l windsurfing conditions here in 25C La Ventana were pretty awesome today

Wow, that was EPIC! I mean epically the worst wing session I've ever had! OMFG!! First mistake was launching at Centennial!!! I think the sandbars have gotten bigger. :o I just could not get out through the chop, which was actually big! It seemed that between waves the water was getting sucked out and my foil kept bottoming out. Finally I got out and then the real fun started. Between my 5M booties, my gloves and my slippery as @#$K wetsuit, I could barely get up on the board. It didn't help that I rigged for the 30 knots and it dropped to a really gusty and holey 20 and switched back to an Easterly. Plus the waves were now coming from 3 different directions! There was actually some fairly large south swell but when the wind switch it turned into a messy washing machine, with an added wave reflecting off the shore because of the high tide, which seemed to suck my foil and board underwater. On the plus side there were about 10 minutes where you could blast straight into the nice south swell and get some good jumps, in my case crashes, but hey that was the most fun of the day!! The blinding blizzard at the end was literally the icing on the cake. As you can tell the lack of wind is making me crazy!
