The forecast for Squamish is looking good for tomorrow (Tue) and the weekend (Sat and Sun). Let's hope it stays that way.

How about Wednesday Alton? This weekend was a complete skunk fest for me and Wednesday is the only day this week I can get away.

I'm also considering Wednesday but it may be gusty. Since it's your only chance this week Go For It!

Thanks Alton. Gusty is better than sitting around at dog beach waiting for the wind ;)

So what is the verdict? Which day is the best day of the week? Tuesday or Wednesday?

What a terrible Tuesday at Squamish today! G g g g g usty! Basically survival kiting. Cautioned by some experienced kiters like Chris Glazier to don't bother, I launched on the sandbar on my 10m North Fuse only to discover I was way overpowered so I immediately landed. Tried AJ's 8m Naish Park but I only had marginal control so I once again bailed. Lots of kiters with short rides and fortunately no causalties.

Tony - maybe Wednesday will work out better for you - can't get any worse. I think the wider temperature gradient should work in your favour. Best of luck.

Sorry to hear about the conditions. Hopefully tomorrow will be ok...I'm going to go out even if it's marginal. :D
