Ferry terminal Saturday morning

Sensor showing some SW at the ferry terminal. How is it there on a SW?

SW will be side to side-on at the ferry terminal, I've seen kiters going on the north side of the causeway between the ferry terminal and Roberts bank. The south side puts your kite dangerously close to the ferry traffic, especially at high tide.

Less of an issue today with a very low tide around 1pm, I would just suggest launching and landing well away from the causeway. Watch for weeds, there are great weed farming opportunities if your kite touches down! Even launching as the tide was coming in put quite a few weeds on my lines.

Crescent Beach is usually the go-to spot for a SW and much shorter distance to the channel to get on the water

You might be better off at Centennial. The wind has switched south so the Boundary Sensor reads low, the gusts are at 13 knots now so that might be the average. Thanks again for the heads up yesterday for Boundary Bay, that session was awesome.

I wanted to make it a double session but unfortunately boys Karate transpired against me. Hopefully we'll get some tomorrow morning for Fathers Day...and then it'll be windy!
