What's with the South East this Summer?

Lots of south east this summer in English Bay. Is this an El Nino thing? Hope the typical English Bay thermal westerlies will return soon. Summer is tickin' away and July has kind of sucked for English Bay this year with so much east / south east.

Harrison looks pretty good the last few days . 15 gusting to 20, look for south west 20km/h Abbotsford EC forcast.

What other information, sensors or cams, are used to get a guesstimate of winds on Harrison lake. Is the old rivtow parking & rigging area still accessible and the place to go?

Yes the old Rivtow or Breakwater beach. The last day of a sunny stretch is usually good,Southwest 20 abbotsford. I windsurf has a meter and there is a free meter as well.
