Epic day at the Spit ... a civilized version of yesterday. SW 25-30 on 6m+surfboard then after Alton Jr was done ... took her 5m for a spin in steady SW 30 with smooth swell ... so civilized ... no problem heading way way upwind with a smaller kite than many of the kite foilers.

Strangely there was no southbound Britannia Beach bottleneck Sunday at 5:00 pm.

Yet another epic 30 knot day perfect for 5m+surfboard. South wind made for some big and steep swell which became smooth outside. Legs started burning after 2 hrs.

Holy that is knarly you need to switch units on the y axis to knots from mph so it will look 20% less knarlly!

6m + surfboard in SW 22-26. Oddly more punchy than the epic Monday session likely due to today's clouds. Alton Jr is proudly landing 50% of her tacks with 5m + surfboard even in these conditions.

Surprisingly funky day on 6m and 8m + surfboard in SW 18-25. The crowds and newbies made for some additional frustration

6m + surfboard didn't last long so switched to 8m to work on tacks with Alton Jr. I didn't land any but got some tips from her. Next time I'll try carving upwind faster by pushing my back foot as I unweight the front foot ... ie. pivoting the surfboard. Also I was told to send the kite to 12 o'clock much slower.

Classic Squamish returns. Light SW 18-22 perfect for demo-ing Core Nexus kites 9m and 12m with Alton Jr working on tacks.
