Stolen Surfboard

I'm so pissed!!!

As I was packing up at 3rd Ave, I left my surfboard by my car then went back to the beach to deflate my kite. When I returned to my car my surfboard was gone.

Someone suggested that a garbage scavenger probably took it so I raced around the neigbourhood from Centennial to the boat launch stopping about 4 garbage scavenger trucks with no luck. I stopped a couple more in Beach Grove ... but I was shit out of luck.

Oh well ... no more kitesurfing until I find a replacement ... FUCK!!!

Hey Alton, so sorry to hear that, that really sucks. I was just talking to my wife about it and she said someone on facebook got their board stolen. Then I saw your post. I went down around 4:30 and people were checking out my gear while I was getting changed in the van. It's getting worse every year. Then session sucked too!!

Sorry to hear about your board, don’t you have a foil board? ;)

Yes I do. Maybe this is the only way to force me to spend more time learning to kite foil.

Many thanks Angus. I might take you up on that if an epic session is forecasted.

Well it's in off site storage so you might want to grab it ahead of time.
