Scored a 12m+surboard session at Locarno in WNW 16-18. The beach was packed the watersport lovers. I've never seen so many wingers before hugely outnumbering kiters.

Fingers crossed for more Sunday.

Got out at the Ferry Terminal for a bit. It was light but fun when I was foiling. :D Almost nailed a 360, a little more wind and I might have pulled it off, next time.

Nice to get out for some of that consistent Georgia straight wind and swell to join the wing party!

Pam rocks outflow 50kmph and 16 degrees right now. Perfect opportunity to downwind squamish to spanish banks ;)

Or more realistically, going to check out porteau cove

Nice day on the water yesterday ... until it wasn't. Got in to trouble when I dropped my kite just inside of the East Dolphin. About 20 min in to the swim in I got super nauseous and could barely function. Just drifted for about 1.5 hours after that until a Jericho Kat spotted me and rescued me. Wasn't quite dark yet but was after 6:00 and I was worried everyone would be off the water and I'd have to spend the night at sea.

Ya glad to hear you made it in OK. You could see you were kind of shaken at the end of the video. Scary stuff, what do you think brought on the nausea, was hypothermia kicking in? I wore my 4.3 yesterday at the Terminal and I was surprised by how cold the water was. I haven't been out in a few weeks and it caught me off guard how much the water temp had dropped. Glad things ended well for you Slappy!!

Add a whistle to a zipper so you can call for help. I've also stopped buying all black gear, red helmet is a good idea. Glad you made it back!
