Could be of interest! Blowing 21 mph on the beach here. Tide very low (but coming up) with whitecaps way out there

Scored 2 hours at Centennial! :D Thought I missed it when I got home from Richmond. I was in such a panic to get to the beach I forgot my harness. You could probably hear that from my OSR. So a big thank you to my wife, which I now "owe big time", according to her. While I waited for her I was able to get my wetsuit on, post an OSR and get my gear down to the beach. The sensor must have been reading light as I was planing almost all the time even right up to the beach. Sometimes had to work hard for it but it was well worth it. Really helped with the post San Carlos depression. :D Not a lot of waves but still great fun blasting around.

Peter (timedog) - many thanks for the OSR. Good to see you and Michael windsurfing today.

Totally unexpected - not in any of the forecasts. About 10 kiters scored a couple of hours mainly on 13m including Andrew, Clay, Jerry, Bret, Cash, Mark ... I scored 1.5 hours on my 10m North Fuse. Only slightly under-powered in SSE 12-15 from 2pm-4pm under sunny sky and warm water. Practiced my upwind stance and kept my ground for a couple of reaches. Still need to work on riding down waves without loosing ground.

Hey Alton what colour is your kite, was it the blue one? I'll try getting farther up wind next time to sail with you guys. I didn't know you were there.

That's what the sensor was reading but it felt like a bit more than that for me as I was planing on my 5.8 110L, maybe it was more on the outside? Wednesday might be the same, so if I see a similar reading I'll go out again.

Hey Michael

I think I was almost done when you arrived on the water. My kite is multi-color but many green. The guy on the blue Naish kite is Mark who arrived late after I was done. It was SSE 12-15 close to shore but Cash said it was stronger outside where you were.

Earlier when Peter was out it was SSE 20. I just missed it when I got on the water.
