The Bay is looking pretty icy these days, like Alton said not sure if it will melt. Hopefully it will be windy enough to wash it down wind! A few screen shots from some drone footage of Boundary Bay taken from the Tsawwassen Loop Facebook page.

Honestly the snow/slush isn't a big deal to kite in at all. In the shallower spots it's thick and you'd have trouble with anything with fins but once you have a bit of water you barely notice the slush patches.
