Don't want to get too far ahead but environment Canada for Vancouver says, "very windy" for Friday. Haven't seen that description before (new guy?). Maybe Acadia and hopefully it's not "very choppy."

Looks like a real carnival tomorrow. The zen-like silence of people either mentally preparing or trying to distract themselves from the weekday forecast is deafening.

Look like down a bit at Jericho. Lots of wind to south of that - YVR 23g32 knots. I was considering White Rock but wonder about direction (I've heard you need west, not northwest). Hmmm... decisions. decisions.

Looks like White Rock is in a wind shadow for now and Jericho has tanked, mmm not sure if I want to sail at the Ferry terminal in 35 knots today would be perfect day for Point Roberts! I'm going to wait and see if it fills in at White Rock or maybe it will come back at Acadia in the afternoon.

I agree that it's a bit of wait and see for me. Not a bad thing as it'll allow things to warm up. Seems like tons of wind in south as per Boundary Bay sensor. This is alot considering it's off shore. Wind needs to fill in to the north to get to Acadia or take a more westerly direction for White Rock. Yeash!
