It looks cool and I just checked it against what iwindsurf is reporting on the west coast and it looks accurate, although it's hard to judge wind speed. It is interesting to see where the wind is, I wonder if it's in realtime? You can see the Maui trade winds are blowing strong now.

try to click on the "earth" text at the bottom left corner..there you will find settings to vary altitude, time, etc,...it's an animated forecast..real time if you select now or future if you change the time with the arrows...click earth again to close the menu!
