Unicorn alert WRB! NWWS and local forecast discussions are calling for SW 35-45 mph this Thursday. We'll see what happens as we roll closer :D

Good call Chris!
Stars are aligning, SE overnight for some am action, though tide is up, and then a decent switch is forecast. Let's hope.

Have fun at 3rd and PR tomorrow early am and possibly WRB for a unicorn session in the afternoon. Swell should be PUMPING tomorrow morning if the forecasted storm for SE winds push through overnight. Sure too bad this front wasn't 6 hours earlier or later. You'd have an all day nuke show :D

I might be able to make the dawn shift at Skunktennial. Thoughts on the tide? It's going from peaked high at dawn of 4.22m down to 1.72m by mid day.

Dropping high tide + pumping night wind + true SSE with gradual shift to S = unicorn Skunktennial day?

Yes, perfect setup! I think that gates at Centennial open at 7 now if not then I'm launching from 3rd Ave or maybe even the boat launch but that's not the best launch at a 4.3 M tide. If you arrive later the boat launch might be best if you plan on sailing until 11 at a 2.2 M tide.

Hope it doesn't get too crazy tomorrow. My smallest kite is 7m. White Rock should be a safe kite launch after 8am.
