Hey Michael,
I think Thursday will be epic SSE conditions at 3rd! No WSW or White Rock on the models I was looking at. Wednesday morning is the day to pay close attention to Whidbey
You guys have been scoring some amazing days for this early in the season. Make sure that GoPro is charged for Thursday. Can't wait to see some huge swell pictures.
On the loop front...........just do it! Seriously, there's very little skill involved to throwing a speed loop. Broad reach with lots of speed, jump, pull your back foot to windward, sheet in hard and 99% of the time you'll splat in water start position. It's 100% commitment and guts and that's about it. After you rotate the first one, water start and sail away you'll be asking yourself why the h$ll you didn't try that years ago.
Landing them dry and then planing is a bit more challenging but a rotation to the waterstart position with the sail still flying is very easy. I promise you 100% you'll rotate all the way if you commit
Cheers,
Chris
