Cypress Mountain 2022/ 2023

When it's absolutely too cold

Day 19 - Pleasantly surprised by the morning dump on the North Shore. Scored 10-15 cm on the main runs but 15-20 cm of pow down Humpty Dumpty, Rainbow and the Olympic run.

Alton - I didn't see you this morning but from your account we did a lot of the same runs. I didn't get to the gate until about 8:45 AM but still got on around the sixth chair on Eagle. Lots of great powder turns today. I stopped by the bottom of the Sky Chair three times but couldn't get an answer as to when they would open. I went back to Eagle and was the second one down the Olympic run. Perhaps it was your tracks I was following.

Today's PSA. Extra layers!

Bonus: hill will be empty again, just like this past weekend. Get it today and tomorrow cuz it'll be crowded on Wednesday!

Day 20 - Mixed groomer and POW day. 15-30 cm down Rainbow, 3 Bears, Olympic and Sky. Finally, got on the Sky Quad (with some issues with gates/magic carpet) ... dropped in the trees but it was awfully crowded with shrubs.

This was the best dry snow of the season.

Cypress Wednesday morning report. Nice groomers. Weapon of the day was a face scarf.

Thursday and Friday forecast is for thinner crowds than on Wednesday.

On Saturday and Sunday, the crowd is forecasted to be negative. IE more staff than actual patrons.

Day 21 - Nice groomer day under blue sky with LeopardSkin and Patrick. Pretty busy for a weekday but wait times were bearable
