Day 26 - Due to meetings I was late to the party, parked in lot 3A, Lions chair was down, 20 minute wait times on Eagle chair ... was it really worth it ... HELL YAH

Day 27 - Raven Chair opened today for some sweet bottomless pow runs down Crazy Raven, Coyote 7, 3 Bears and the super-secret run.

Yup, a great morning on the Raven Chair. All three double-blacks were well over knee-deep and in better shape than any time last season. Did every run on Raven Chair.
Now resting up for tomorrow!

Lucky timing. Booked last week for my sister (Claire) and nephew (Mark). Both from Halifax. I was worried since the previous two days effectively had one main lift open. Was blessed with Raven chair opening. 4 hours no line ups. I was amazed with Mark's progression. He started with getting help from Tony with his snow board straps. He ended with blasting and sometimes fearlessly tumbling down first Sun.

Day 28 - 4 runs in drizzle on Baby Rider with LeopardSkin. Made the best of 20 min wait times working on riding switch and edge control.

Sunshine and blue skies this morning. They opened the Eagle chair about 9:05 AM with the other chairs following shortly afterwards (except Sky). No line-ups at Raven. Around 20 CM of untracked powder on Black on Black, Meteor and Coyote 7. There was a slight crust on the powder but still got many excellent turns on the fat skis. When I left at 11 AM the 3B parking lot was about 80% full and there was a line of cars down the Cypress road at least a KM past the works yard turn off.

Squeezed in a fun morning before the warm/ wet weather. Temp was 0.5C at the parking lot, but snowing. One rainy chair ride at about 10am then it snowed again the rest of the session. All the runs had a few cms of soft snow on them, and no ice. Even Crazy Raven was good all the way to the bottom.
After 14 runs my gloves were carrying a few pounds of water, making for cold hands. Otherwise the Goretex held up well and it was well worth the gamble.
