Michael - How's the weed situation in Boundary Bay been lately?

I'm still waiting for my Makani weed fins (stuck in Richmond) so I'll need to use my normal fins on Thursday.

By the time I get there, the tide level will be between 4.5m and 3.5m

Weeds weren't too bad the other day, they seem to have cleared up a bit. I'm headed down there now to check things out.

Missed the wind, saw a few kiters on the beach and walking back in. Not a lot of weeds in the water, a few higher up on the beach so it might get bad around high tide, this was taken at a 3.8 M tide.

Thanks ... stoked for Thursday. Itching for a proper BB session. It's been a while.

As one of the kiters walking back I can confirm that the weeds were not bad. 20 minutes on the water, 20 minutes in the water. Was lucky I was relatively close to shore as the wind dropped fast. Kite in water as I was walking in. Minimal weeds in lines. I'm also (and again) stuck in morning meetings but have my eye on early afternoon tomorrow, maybe.

Didn't realize that was you but thought I saw your car on my way home, glad you weren't too far out. Hopefully tomorrow delivers, not sure if I should wing or windsurf though?

I've been watching the wind all day hoping for things to get better but I'll take what I can get, it's time to go. Hope it gets better.
