Go small or go home.

Today on 3.7 m^2 / 78 L board. Sore muscles after 2.5 hour session. Not sure if sore muscles are from windsurfing or 2nd dose of moderna from yesterday.

I saw you on 8m so I pumped up my 5m + (TT & Surfboard)

Less is better.

Now I'm also a 5m dude. Nuk'n day. Started at 10am with just Chris R (7m+surfboard) and me on 8m+surfboard. Super fun cranking hero gybes lit in SW 20-25.

After a zoom meeting returned to the water in the afternoon sharing a 5m with Alton JR in SW 25-30 ... so much fun buzzing around with a tiny kite.

.. then went on the 8m again to ride with Alton JR but I was mainly overpowered so had to be gentle with the kite.

Great way to start the Canada Day weekend.

Waited for signs of clearing before heading to Squamish at noon. Shared 8m with Alton JR in SW 20-25. Sometimes gusty but still plenty of fun cranking gybes.

Great way to celebrate Canada Day !!!

Thought I'd slip in a Harrison report in the Squamish thread. I thought I was going to Squamish until I saw the cloud cover. Gusty at Harrison is better than Squamish (usually). 6.8 on wind foil conditions. On/off at first then improving on this solo session. I've over worked the upper body on last couple of sessions pumping to foil so tried to be more patient waiting for the "gust". Water is very high at Harrison with about half the parking lot under water.

Arrived early so Alton JR could catch the 10:30am flat water session with only 6 other kiters in SW 16-18 on 12m+TT. Took my turn on the 12m+TT to try some boosting ... first time in over 1 year ... tons of fun.

In the afternoon we shared the 8m in SW 20-25. Bar pressure felt rather heavy so I guess it was gusty.

Fortunately, it was not as insanely crowded as a typical weekend.

Windier than normal today. A lot of windsurfers on 4.x. One guy on a 3.7 (fin), and another guy on 2.5 (fin)!

After Alton JR finished her morning session (10:30-noon) in steady SW 20-25, I finally got to try the 8m+TT in crappy gusty SW 20-30 so I called it after 30 minutes.
