Looking a little rough out there. Was it steadier that the graph suggests?

I figured the clouds will do that at the spit -- so we decided to go to Nexen and nowhere feels like that. There were gusts but none of the crazy lulls like that.

First day at the Spit. Steady SW 16-18 just enough for 12m+surfboard in the river. Fun 2 hrs riding with all the Squamish locals.

Only got 0.5 hrs in SW 13-16 on 12m+surfboard. Sandra and Drummermom (with their female weights) got more than I.

Sweet 2 hrs session on 9m+surfboard in some real wind SW 20-24. Nice small swell at the river mouth. Good turn out. Called it quits when it got choppy and started blowing my gybes.

Sweet 1.5 hrs in steady S 18-20 on 12m+surfboard. Smooth water unlike yesterday's Locarno chop. Massive turn out. Repeat tomorrow?
