On the weekend and with wing gear, we managed to launch from Nexen by parking at the end of Galbraith and walking the trail towards the terminal and along the water to the beach. It's about a 10 min walk. I guess it won't work for weekdays since it's an active construction site. I give them credit, they did a nice job of shaping the new beach there.

Tons of fun demoing Duotone Neo 10m + Fish Surfboard while Alton JR works on cranking her gybes on 8m+surfboard. Ended the day on 6m+surfboard over silky smooth river current.

Triple session:

- 8m kite, I can’t believe Alton is on 6. The Island must have made me heavier.
- wind picked up to sustain 4.5 m^2 sail over 75 L quad board
- 8m Duotone Rebel — thanks to the demo day.

Really loving this vacation-work at my old hometown.

Skwxwú7mesh Island delivered again. Steady 25 to 30 in the river and into the bay :D

Wowzas, those were some gusts. Large-ish waves too by Squamish standards imo. I was on my 4.2 and would sheet in to pop onto the foil and then pretty much sheet out entirely. I thought about rigging down to 3.7 but was satisfied with one hour otw. Made it home with no lineups out of Squamish or over the bridge.

Good call on epic day today Tony. 4 hour session with 4.5 m^2 + 75 L quad board. Could have been on 3.7 easily but the walk is across over 500 meters is just too much

Filled in everywhere so that was a bonus. But the chop is just crazy so stayed in the river when it flattened out due to low tide

Great vacation so far.

I was overpowered on my 4.7, but I stuck with it because I was too lazy to rig 4.0.
