The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada are looking into a odd occurrence that happened last Sunday at Centennial beach.
Dead crabs. Fully intact dead crabs all along the shoreline as the tide was coming in. At least a dozen.
Could be poaching. Could be pollution. They collected crabs and sent them off for samples.
If you are out taking a walk in the shore, and you start seeing fully intact dead crabs coming in with the tide, please call DFO to report a possible violation:
