One of my daughters has taken up kiting (at Squamish) and is getting outfitted. She has a 7m kite, bar, harness etc but still needs a twintip board, about 135 cm. She is very athletic but petite, so a smaller board may be ok too.
Would appreciate advice or any leads on what to get on the used market.
Thanks
Ps - she’s taken lessons and is riding both directions without assistance now. She’ll learn fast.

Alton JR (Abrielle) is 117 lbs and her go to kite is 8m Airush Ultra (more of a wave/foiling kite than a boosting kite). She rides the 8m in 16 kts to 25 kts with a 135x40 cm twin tip (2006 North Dragon).

The 8m Airush Ultra is enough for her to boost and land her back rolls.

19m kite lines limited boosting (kite too fast). We added the extensions back to 23m which works much better for boosting.

She rarely rides the 12m and finds it too slow for her liking. She enjoys riding the 5m in 25-30 kts conditions.

Thanks Alton. Jackie is even smaller than Abrielle so I think her 7m will get lots of use. I don’t know what length her lines are but I will pass on your advice.
Jackie is definitely looking for a used board; she’s on a university student’s budget:).
